Separated by 10 Miles, Two Delaware Towns Will Host One Festival Connected By Bicycle on October 31st (NOTE DATE CHANGE)

Beer, Bicycling, Live Music & Pony Rides in Two Delaware River Towns

Two Delaware towns on the Delaware River separated by 10 miles will host the third annual River Towns Ride & Festival on October 31* from 11:30am to 5pm.

FESTIVAL (Live music, 16 craft breweries and pony rides)

Festivals will be held in the main squares of both Historic New Castle (the Green) and Historic Delaware City (Battery Park).

Activities for kids will include

  • Pony Rides
  • Hayrides
  • Pumpkin Decorating (with free pumpkins to the first 350 kids)

CYCLING (Time trial and recreational ride)

New Castle and Delaware City are connected by the bike-friendly corridor of Route 9.

Competitive cyclists are encouraged to participate in the River Towns Time Trial for cash and prizes while recreational cyclists can pick their distance and ride for fun or to earn a distance medal. The ride is open to ALL ABILITY LEVELS.

    Will you be able to make the return trip by bus with your bike going with you?

      My name is Philip Harvey and not Philip Harvet. You have not answered my question vis a vis the ability to .return on a bus from one city to the second city if you do not want to ride for 20 miles.
