WCBC’s Annual Shorefire Ride

Pre-registration for White Clay Bicycle Club’s third major event of the year closes Sunday, August 18.  Ride beautiful, scenic routes (35, 65, and 100 miles) taking you through flat to gently rolling farmland in central Delaware. All routes will be marked and SAG support provided until 5:00 pm.  A wide array of bicycle friendly food will be available at rest stops at regular intervals (five on the century).

DATE:   Saturday, August 24, 2013

TIME:    Registration/departure 7:00-10:00 am (closes 9:00 am for the century).

START:  Ride starts at 8:00 AM, no mass start.

WHERE: Middletown High School in Middletown, DE

COST:    $20 by August 18th, $25 day of event registration.

SUPPORT:   Fully marked routes, cue sheets, sag wagon (until 5:00 PM), food stops, event souvenir and GPS-type file for pre-registrants (online or mail-in) who have provided an email address.
